In-Dash 1-DIN Fanless Car PC
This In-Dash, In-Vehicle Personal Computer opens up the world of in-vehicle entertainment! Install the in-car computing software and couple this In-Dash multimedia PC with our In-Dash Touchscreen computer Monitor or any of our mobile TFT LCD Monitors with VGA input and optional Touch Screen, you have yourself a system that is capable of GPS navigation, MP3 playback, in-car theater, in-car gaming, and in-car office. Our Carputer (Car Computer) is a full-featured PC that fits conventional car stereo one-DIN slot in the vehicle which gives you a clean installation and factory look. You can also mount the PC underneath your seat or in the trunk by using the included floor mount. Since this is an open-architecture, you can use your creativity to create your customized in-car entertainment system. Sky is the limit!
The CP-ID8 doesn't use a Fan for cooling but it is still able to operate at a 158 degree Fahrenheit environment. At the same time, it offers enough performance for all your in-car computing needs by utilizing a Pentium M 800Mhz (P4 Class) processor. The unit takes 6 to 38 Volt DC which is good for car, truck, bus, and RV installation. Better yet, we are able to cut power consumption down to a mere 18W with our proprietary technology. A built-in Startup / Shutdown controller properly shuts down the Car PC when power is cut, avoiding file system corruption. This low power consuming, but yet powerful PC is perfect for in-vehicle computing or industrial computing use.
This PC comes included with an external enclosure, floor mount, a cigarette lighter car adaptor, ACC power cable, and drivers CD.
